I don't think I would have wanted to make this for a bunch of 5 year olds, either!! Great job on this challenge! Also, for some reason, your post didn't come up in my reader - I'm not sure why!

Mary

I'm glad the DB challenge lured you back into the kitchen. Great job on your bostinis!

Andrea

I'm in total agreement--no way would I have given this dessert to my 4 and 3-year-olds, though I did let them have a few tastes. The Frangelico sounds like an inspired substitute for the orange juice, and your Bostini looks beautiful!

breadchick

I hope you get a chance to get back into the kitchen soon! Glad you made our challenge the one thing that got you back into the kitchen and love the sundae cup presentation!!

Ivonne

I'm glad you made the challenge inspite of how busy you are! Your bostini turned out gorgeous!

Jen Yu

I was laughing so hard when I read that you shuffled them out the door! I thought for sure you were going to make tiny little servings for each kid - ha ha! You totally cracked me up just then. You did a beautiful job on your Bostini!

Dolores

Oooh... Frangelico! I wouldn't have been willing to share Frangelico-infused Bostinis with a bunch of five-year-olds either.

I'm sorry you're having a hectic month, but I'm glad you found the time and energy to come play with us on this. It was a fun challenge!

Julius

I love how you described the cream in the custard - it is as delicious as you said it is. :) What a great looking bostini as well.

I would have thought you would have used the "alcohol content" rather than allergies! And I'm with you - my kids didn't get to try the Bostini either, since I doubted they would appreciate it.

Tartelette

Great job on your challenge. Hope you get back in the kitchen soon!

Oh, you know, Frangelico is a fabulous idea. I'm wondering what other flavors could go in there.... Thanks for the idea, and great looking cake / custard / thing. :)

Inne

Great job Chelsea - glad you found some time this month to spend in your kitchen. I'm in the same situation: so busy at work I almost forgot how much I love experimenting in the kitchen.

Gabi

Hi your bostini is gorgeous and I don't blame you one tiny bit for not sharing it with the little ones. Let them get a few more years on their palates before they qualify :)
xoxo

peabody

You don't always need to share :)

Tanna

I was so fearful you were going to give alcohol to all those sweet little ones Chelsea ;)) Ha.
Frangelico, now that was an inspired idea. Just perfect for grown up tea!
