When I read about Valentine Postcards Around The World, hosted by the lovely Meeta at What's for Lunch, Honey?, I signed on right away. What a fun idea to send and receive a postcard from a mysterious penpal on another continent! So I sent a Valentine to my penpal, Brilynn of Jumbo Empanadas in Canada, and began the daily ritual of rushing home to see if my Valentine had yet arrived. As Valentine's Day approached, I began to despair. What if my Valentine was lost? Could my mailman have stolen it? (Actually he's lovely and doesn't look the least bit lonely.) I was beginning to feel like Charlie Brown, checking the mailbox several times a day
. Well, yesterday I came home to a full mailbox, and after pulling everything out I saw the reflection of a red envelope left in the box. Imagine my joy! The red envelope was my valentine, sent all the way from Belgium! My Valentine penpal was Michelle of Blog van een obsessieve "trut" . She sent me a fun Snoopy Valentine hug, in Dutch no less. Thanks Meeta, for hosting this terrific exchange. Count me in for next time!

This is a lovely blog! Your V-Day card looks fun too! What better person to send love than Snoopy!
