I'm the food lover, experience junkie and "Big Cheese" behind Denver Gourmet Tours.

My specialty is discovering great food experiences and I created Denver Gourmet to bring our amazing local food purveyors and producers and food lovers together.

I think that the best way to experience a culture is by its food, so I search out the extra-ordinary and unexpected about the local foods, people, and places I visit and write about. As an active member of Slow Food, I have a particular interest in artisanal foods and the producers who are keeping these authentic traditions alive.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me baking up something aromatic and delicious; running in the park; seeking out my own next great food experience or just hanging out with a glass of wine.

By the way - I believe that any day can be improved with a bottle of red, a crusty baguette and a slice of brie.
